Made in MS: Robicheaux’s Specialty Candy

At 50 years old, Laura Robicheaux retired from her 30-year career as an educator and moved to Poplarville with her husband, Francis. She was looking for a new adventure, something to fill her time, something that would make people happy. Remembering that family and friends always loved the Pralines that she made for them at Christmas, Laura decided to open a small candy-making business, and Robicheaux’s Specialty Candy was born. She converted a building on her property into a commercial candy kitchen and started bringing her goods to various markets. Twenty-seven years later, Robicheaux’s is still going strong, with a team of loyal employees who help with the manufacturing of approximately 20 different types of delicious candies, including the bestselling pecan turtles, glazed and seasoned nuts, decorated pretzels and more. Gift tins, boxes and crates are ideal for the holiday season, filled with delicious specialty candies. For more information or to order online, visit robicheauxcandy.com.
