There’s no replacement for a welcoming bowl of warm soup on a
chilly day. One of the great things about soup is we only need a few
ingredients to whip up a batch on short notice. If the pantry is “stocked with
stock,” it’s just a matter of tossing in what’s on hand.
There’s been a lot of chatter in the past few years about bone broth. I’ve researched and found it really is just stock. Bone broth is just what it sounds like – a bone-based stock. My Bone Broth recipe is for those of you who don’t know what to do with that leftover chicken, duck or turkey carcass. Whether it’s homemade or from a carton, be sure to keep some on hand.
