Meet Kristie Droge

Learn more about MSFB staff member Kristie Droge.

Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation strives to influence public policy that will help Mississippi’s farmers and ranchers in Jackson and Washington D.C. The organization would not be able to accomplish this mission without the help of a strong public policy team, including Kristie Droge.

Kristie serves MFBF as a paralegal and assistant to the general counsel. Her primary duties consist of managing all meetings, events, and travel involving the MFBF State Board, Executive Committee and Finance Committee.

“If our board members need anything, I’m usually the one they call,” Droge says. “I love getting to build relationships with the people who help this great organization run.”

Kristie says the work she does for MFBF on a daily basis is important to her because it impacts the livelihood of farmers and ranchers across the state, including her family.

“My husband, David, operates a cow-calf operation full time in Yazoo County,” Droge says. “I help after work and on the weekends. Working for Farm Bureau allows me to combine my love for legal issues and farming. I get to see how the laws that are created directly affect people.”

When she’s not working or farming, Kristie likes to spend her free time fishing for redfish.
