But if you’re all about that bean, then listen up. Whether you’re a Mississippi native or just planning your next road trip, these are five Mississippi coffee spots you don’t want to miss. 1. Hot Coffee, Mississippi

Yes, the name of this town is actually Hot Coffee! Way back in 1870, a man named L.J. Davis built a store and sold what he claimed to be the “best hot coffee around.” Davis refused to serve cream with the coffee, using molasses drippings as a sweetener instead. (Talk about a coffee purist!) His famous coffee was made using New Orleans coffee beans and pure spring water. Today, there’s not much to see by way of coffee shops, but there are a few signs that would make an excellent new profile pic. Just be careful… as the sign says, no loud or vulgar music allowed!
